Fire fighting appliances and systems of the vessel including constructive fire protection, firefighting systems and equipment, systems of fire alarm and firefighting supply, and also life-saving appliances of the vessel should be good maintained and be ready for immediate and effective use. Fire fighting appliances and systems, life-saving appliances should be tested, inspected, maintained at proper intervals. Records about testing, inspection, maintenance should be made in the relevant plans.
                      
 
These plans are developed individually for each vessel taking into consideration pecularities of firefighting and lifesaving systems and appliances of the vessel. Plans include inspections and maintenance that are carried out weekly, monthly, quaterly,once per 6 months and annually.
