SHIPBOARD PLANS AND PROCEDURES FOR RECOVERY OF PERSON FROM WATER

Dear Sirs,

We kindly remind you that International Maritime Organization (IMO) adopted new SOLAS Regulation III/17-1 regarding Persons’ Recovery from the Water.

This regulation will apply to all SOLAS ships constructed on or after 1 July 2014 and to existing SOLAS ships by the first periodical or renewal safety equipment survey after 1 July 2014.

The new regulation is intended to introduce ship-specific plans and procedures for the recovery of persons from the water, identifying the equipment intended to be used for recovery purposes and measures to be taken in order to minimize the risk to shipboard personnel involved in recovery operations.

Our Company “Marine Safety Management ltd.” offers to develop “Shipboard Plans & Procedures for Recovery of Person from Water” for your vessel.
