Emergency Towing Booklet was developed in accordance with Resolution MSC.256(84) and includes main legal principles of towing procedure and detailed description of processes of preparation before towing and towing itself. Calculation of tow gears for towing is carried out specifically for each vessel. Schematic drawings of possible types of towing on the given vessel are made.
