TANZANIA BANNES THE REGISTRATION FOR FOREIGN VESSELS!

President John Magufuli announced that Tanzania temporarily closed its maritime registry to foreign vessels in response to a string of arrests involving Tanzanian-flagged vessels for drug and gun smuggling.

The President of Tanzania also ordered to investigate the case on the vessels being involved in criminal activity (more than 400 vessels).

Tanzanian Vice-President SamiaSuluhu Hassan also announced that the government is suspending the registration of two vessels arrested for illicit activity and added that Tanzania will be pursuing action against the individuals who registered these ships.

When choosing a registry one should pay attention to the main factors, such as:

• prompt response of the administration to the request;

• quality of service;

• convenient language for consultations;

• theterms of issuing and delivering documents;

• convenient geographical location of the official representative;

• the level of the international rating;

• political stability.

We will help you with the choice of the flag, provide fast and high-quality registration of your vessel and other services needed throughout the stay of the vessel in the Registry you chose.

When registering a vessel we not only conduct the procedure of registration but also give consultations on various issues (choice of jurisdiction, registration procedure, further annual extension, etc.).
